Stay My Love
I made this piece, really out of nothing. I had been playing around with a picture I had taken of a pool of slime in a rocky outcrop. The scene was dark and I liked the way the light reflected off of the surface of the green slime. I started adding female faces within the slime, trying to produce a Mother Nature type piece.
However after adding the last texture and blending it, it came out to what you see now. It's evolved into a keepsake of a man with Dementia, faces of his loved one over the years, intersperesed with love letters. He carefully unfolds it everyday to help him remember his wife, everyday the images fade like his memories.
